Instructions

Plug your amazon power cable into the OTG adapter (included), plug in the other end of the OTG cable into your Amazon fire device (not 4th Gen cube). You now have a USB to connect the LAN Ethernet adapter to.  Connect your ethernet cable to the adapter and your router. wait 1 minute for connection.

 

TROUBLESHOOTING.

Power fire device off. Make Ethernet cable connection prior to plugging in power. Allow fire stick 10- seconds to turn on. wait 1-2 minutes to wired connection to complete. Verify by selecting settings>network. Will not work on Roku devices

 

If you see WiFi networks verify you do not have a 1st gen stick as the adapter is not compatible with 1st Gen sticks. To check your stick, remove it from the TV and turn it over. on the back of the stick look for these numbers...

1st-gen = 2ABDU-0509 sold in (2016) This is a very old device and should not be used for streaming anymore. 
 

If you have a 2nd Gen stick 4K, 4K Max etc...or higher, connect everything one more time...Please wait 25 minutes,  not all fire-sticks will connect within a few minutes. If after 15 minutes please contact us so we can help further
